My favorite scene of the Child Jesus who gives me hope. In this scene, Maria, who is worried about the process of deliverance, and Joseph, who seems to be losing hope. I am sure they both wanted to relax after a long journey, but they knew they would not. When their friends, family and neighbors tell them to give up their promises to each other, it is as if their touch tells them, "It's okay. I'm here, I'm with you. I can't do your job for you, but I won't leave you until you do what needs to be done. I'm here for you. I'm not leaving"... Joseph and Mary look into each other's eyes and hold hands. In this moment of bravery, the two seem to promise each other and God that they will do what the Lord has asked them to do. The courage and dedication of Mary and Joseph give me hope and make me understand that through God I can have the power to do whatever he asks of me. I love the example of their love, their marriage and their care. Tenderness, strength, devotion, obedience to God and faith. All this in one little touch.
