We turn away and walk towards the school. All of a sudden we begin to feel slightly uncomfortable. There is something not quite right about the shop being closed. Even Thwaites is unable to offer a reasonable explanation. We become silent. There is a faint scent of danger in the air now. Each one of us catches a whiff of it. Alarm bells are beginning to ring faintly in out ears.
