"Murder in Murder" is a short story published by Edgar Allan Poe in Graham Magazine in 1841. It is described as the first modern detective novel. Poe called it one of his "rational stories."
August Dupin (C. Auguste Dupin) is a man in Paris who solved the mystery of the cruel killing of two women. Although no one agreed to speak any language, many witnesses heard the suspect's voice. At the murder scene, Du Ping found a hair that did not seem to be human.
As the first fictional detective, Dupin (Due Popin) exhibited many characteristics, which became the fictional detectives (including Sherlock Holmes and Hercules Pollot) Literary practice. For example, many later roles followed Poe ’s excellent detective role model, his personal friend as a narrator, and the final revelation before he came up with reasoning. Du Ping himself appeared again in "The Mystery of Mary Roger" and "The Stolen Letter."
