Hermione :
Hermione Granger is one of the saga's main characters. She is very clever, intelligent, and brave. She helps a lot in the fight against Voldemort, which breaks the cliché of the girl who can't do anything in such situations that is often used in that kind of books. She meets Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in the first book and is their best friend. She is not from a wizards family, it can be important for some wizards such as Drago Malefoy who insults her in the second book because of this. In the movies, she is played by Emma Watson.
Professor McGonagall :
Minerva McGonagall teaches metamorphosis at Hogwards. She also is the directress of the Griffindor's house and can turn herself into a cat. In the first books, she may appear as a strict teacher, but as time goes by, we find out that she is a very nice person and that she is very brave. She and Dumbledore are very good friends.
