1. When Martin Luther King delivers his speech, he is a civil rights leader. He knows that there are still many difficulties to overcome. he seems weary about the situation but also determined to reach his goals. No one should give up, it is the only way to fulfil one's dreams.
2. Despite some weariness ( = lassitude ) in his tone. The message conveyed by Martin Luther King is full of hope. He advises people to keep on « building this temple » he strongly believes in. If they don’t give up, if they keep on dreaming and fighting their dream will come true.
