So, on the picture, we can see two proud young women, with their diploma in hand. They are tied together, we can see that as an interpretation of fate, the fate of two young women, fighting proudly to be recognized as citizens and human beings. On their dresses, we can observe a beautiful landscape, probably at dusk or dawn, with clear and beautiful colors, we can interpret that as America, a beautiful but unreachable country, which they probably like a lot. And as a background, there are dark clouds on a dark sky, that, perhaps, represents where they come from, a cruel country compared to the paradise-like landscape on their dresses. A country they fled from, a past they fear and hide.
The headline says : studying at college and feeling concerned about one's immigration status.
That means that, while they're studying in college ( please do keep in mind it is like a "university" in France and not the "college" which comes before highschool ) they have to worry, about where they come from, they have to hide their pasts, fearing rejection. The headline is very adapted for the image, which represents young women, graduating, hoping that others could not discover their pasts. Of course, we can add that it is not very healthy to worry while studying.
