I am Rosa Parks, I was born on February 4, 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama, United States. My father was a carpenter and my mother a teacher. My parents got separated when I was very young, and I was experienced racism as a child. In my day, whites and blacks didn't have the same rights. As a black person, I am very often discriminated.
I work as a human rights activist and civil rights activist . Actually I fought against racial segregation in the United States, I'm cold : "Mother of the civil rights movement" by the United States Congress.
On December 1st, 1955 in Montgomery, I refused to give up my place to a white woman and for this reason I was arrested by two municipal officers. I was sentenced on December 5 to pay a fine of $ 10.
