1) (4x+2)(3x-1) - 2(2x-2)(3x-1) = 0

⇔ (3x-1)(4x+2 - 2(2x-2)) = 0

⇔ (3x-1)(4x+2-4x-4) = 0

⇔ (3x-1)(-2) = 0

⇔ 3x-1 = 0

⇔ 3x = 1

⇔ x = 1/3

2) (4x+2)(3x-1) - 2(2x-2)(3x-1) = 0

⇔ 12x² - 4x + 6x - 2 - 2(6x² - 2x - 6x +2) = 0

⇔ 12x² + 2x - 2 - 12x² + 16x -4 = 0

⇔ 18x - 6 = 0

⇔ 18x = 6
