Hastings 1066 is a battle who was fought on 14 October 1066 between the Norman-French army of William, the Duke of Normandy, and an English army under the Anglo-Saxon King Harold Godwinson.  It took place approximately 7 miles (11 kilometres) northwest of Hastings, close to the present-day town of Battle, East Sussex, and was a decisive Norman victory.

Beatrix was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit. She was educated by governesses and grew up isolated from other children

Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer. He has a great talent for writing.

The Great Fire of London swept through the central parts of the English city from Sunday, 2 September to Thursday, 6 September 1666. The fire gutted the medieval City of London inside the old Roman city wall. (It is estimated to have destroyed the homes of 70,000 of the city's 80,000 inhabitants.)
